Father Terme had a great devotion to the Eucharist. He loved to celebrate this sacrament of the real presence of Christ under the species of bread and wine. This is evidenced by the chalice pall he used, which was probably embroidered by Mother Thérèse: a square of cardboard covered with fabric, delicately embroidered and intended to protect the consecrated wine in the chalice.
Memories of Father Terme recount that the inspiration to offer accommodation to women coming on pilgrimage to Lalouvesc came to him during a Mass celebrated at the altar of St. Regis. Similarly, immersed in the drafting of the rules of his small congregation, Father Terme claimed to have “placed them under the corporal during the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass to offer them to Our Lord.” Finally, on each of his journeys, he liked to get out of his cart whenever he passed a church to “worship Our Lord in his tabernacle.”
